CMOS

What does CMOS mean in a BOM?

A logic family and process technology using paired p- and n-type MOSFETs, drawing almost no static power. On a BOM, CMOS and TTL parts differ in voltage thresholds and power draw, so a CMOS line is not a drop-in for a TTL one without checking logic levels.
