What is D2PAK (TO-263) in electronics sourcing?
The surface-mount equivalent of the TO-220 power package, soldered to a board pad that spreads heat. D2PAK and TO-220 can share a die but not a footprint, so they are not interchangeable on a BOM without a layout change.
