What is Cross-reference / alternate part in electronics sourcing?
A different manufacturer part that is form-, fit-, and function-equivalent to a specified component. Finding valid cross-references is how sourcing teams keep a build alive when the preferred part is out of stock, on long lead time, or EOL.
